Facilities for Hire

 

The homestead has three function areas served by a fully equipped kitchen and bar room.

The rooms can be used (by arrangement) for exhibitions, meetings, functions and seminars.

Two rooms are equipped with gallery lighting and fittings. There is also a whiteboard and sound system available.

Room Sizes:

- 7m x 7.5m
(2 walls of windows would accommodate 8 larger paintings or 30 or so small to medium paintings);
- 7m x 3m (all 4 walls for displaying)
- 3m x 4m (suitable for small meetings)

For recitals or lectures, the large room can accommodate 75 people, seated in rows, and up to 50 cabaret style with tables and chairs.

There are 75 chairs and 14 tables - each seating four plus four trestle tables. Two marquees to assist with outdoor/indoor events are available.

The current cost of hiring Waverley Homestead is $20 per hour for arts related events, but members' special functions can be negotiated.
