Helen Woods/Liana Vargas

 

Helen Wood's first exhibition as part of SALA last year was an outstanding success with a wonderful opening night supported by friends and STARS members. The exhibition was well attended throughout SALA and Helen's paintings were well priced and very popular.

Teatro del Mundo's Artistic Director, Liano Vargas, has performed in Madrid (La Zambra) and Mexico City (Meson Triana) and in the UK danced at Covent Garden, the Royal Albert Hall and at Sadler's Well. She has also performed and taught extensively within California and performed at the infamous El Cid Flamenco Tablao.

2008 marks her Silver Anniversary as a flamenco dancer and her celebrations have begun with her company's new work Duende which just finished a very successful Fringe Season.
